"That's my baby": Angel Reese's mother is a proud mom as WNBA star becomes first pro-athlete to walk Victoria's Secret runway

The Chicago Sky star was the one to make her runway debut, but it was her mother who was super excited to see her talented daughter becoming a model.

Angel Reese's debut into the modeling world was the talk of the town even before she walked the runway. She had been 'manifesting' since last year's Victoria's Secret fashion show about someday walking the ramp for the brand. And when she finally found the chance, she grabbed it with both hands. And her proud momma was there to document this special event from the beginning till the end.


From posting a selfie of herself before her daughter's runway debut to capturing Reese' first walk to a picture of the duo at the end of the show, she was there to take pictures and cheer for the young Reese through it all. “Yup brought me to tears seeing my Angel... Y’all see why she’s the topic of their weekly conversations," she wrote alongside the hashtag proudmom. In a video she could also be heard screaming, "That's my baby," while the WNBA star was seen walking on the ramp.

Angel Reese had the support of everyone around her as she made her debut into the world of modeling, as she became a part of the 2025 Victoria's Secret fashion show. From Adriana Lima to the Hadid sisters to Yasmin Wijnaldum, the runway was filled with stars, and among them was the WNBA athlete who made history with her walk.
