Snoop Dogg will put on his analyst boots for NBA Peacock in January for Clippers vs Warriors game
Rapper Snoop Dogg, one of the biggest musical artists in the world, is ready to bring his usual charm and wit to the game of basketball. The musical genius will serve as an analyst for Peacock on January 5 for the game between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Golden State Warriors. He will join Terry Gannon and Reggie Miller on the courtside, and fans can already tell how it's all going to turn out.
Snoop will be attending the pregame meetings, and then proceed to observe the first half of the game, before he comes on as an analyst during the second half of the game. This will be the Warriors 37th game, and the 35th for the Clippers, the latter of whom would be playing host to the Bay Area team during the game in January. And of course, Snoop will bring his own style to the analysis while these two teams come face to face.
Snoop Dogg is having a busy time with the holidays, and has quite a few upcoming engagements in collaboration with NBC. On Christmas Day, the rapping superstar will be featured on Netflix's halftime show for the NFL'S Detroit Lions vs Minnesota Vikings game. The "Snoop's Holiday Halftime Party" show is also set to feature Lainey Wilson as well as K-Pop Demon Hunters stars EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami, among others.
In a statement Snoop said, “You’ll have to wait until Christmas to see who else joins Uncle Snoop. But trust — it’s gonna be a holiday to remember.” Apart from the NFL halftime time and the NBA special analyst job, Snoop will also be part of the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics in February 2026. After his successful attempt at hosting the Summer Olympics in 2024, he will serve as one of the hosts for NBC's broadcast of the Opening Ceremonies.
As for his bout with the NBA, he will join the likes of Terry Gannon and Reggie Miller during the second half of the Los Angeles Clippers vs Golden State Warriors game, and amuse fans with his non-nonsense but laid-back attitude during the game. Fans are already speculating the kind of analysis he will bring to the table, and can't wait to see how this collaboration turns out to be.
