“Shoutout to her” - Brandon Ingram gets emotional with heartfelt tribute for GloRilla after replacing Stephen Curry in All-Star Game

Brandon Ingram will be playing in the 2026 NBA All-Star Game. The Toronto Raptors star will be replacing Stephen Curry after the Golden State Warriors legend was ruled out due to injury. As the league announced Ingram’s participation in the All-Star Game, the athlete decided to dedicate this selection to his girlfriend, GloRilla. In a recent clip, he gave a shoutout to the American rapper while expressing his gratitude for the selection.

Brandon is currently averaging 22 points with 5.8 rebounds and 3.7 assists. The athlete has been quite a surprise in the 2025-2026 season. His defence has been quite strong and has helped the team to secure a spot in the top 5 of the Eastern Conference.

Brandon Ingram and GloRilla are one of the most talked-about couples within the NBA. The duo have shown constant support for each other’s careers. Both Ingram and the American rapper have never missed a chance to show their appreciation for having each other in their lives. The Toronto Raptors star did exactly the same after being selected for the All-Star Game. While expressing his gratitude for the selection, Brandon stated, “I am going to shout out my girl, because she would be mad if I don’t. Shoutout to her.”

The NBA athlete continued to explain GloRilla’s impact on his life. He added, “All the attitude that I bring her every single day, her work ethic pushes me to be better too.” Towards the end of the gratitude clip, Brandon added, “I wanna thank all those people, everybody who believed in me.” This is Brandon’s second All-Star selection. His first selection was in 2020.

While stepping in for Stephen Curry, Brandon will be joining his teammate, Scottie Barnes and head coach Darko Rajakovic. However, Brandon and Scottie will be on rival teams. While Brandon has been selected into Team USA Stripes, Scottie will be playing for Team USA Stars.

When is the NBA All-Star Game?

This is the 75th All-Star Game of the league. The event will tip off on February 15, 2026, at 5 pm ET. It will take place at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. Fans can even watch it live on NBC and even stream it with special features on Peacock.
