NEW DELHI: Grayson Allen and Royce O'Neale played pivotal roles for the Phoenix Suns in their 123-113 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers, combining for 12 of the team's 17 made 3-pointers. The Suns maintained control for most of the game, building a substantial lead early on, although the Lakers mounted a comeback effort in the second half.

In the crucial moments of the fourth quarter, with the Lakers closing in at 110-104, Allen and O'Neale stepped up with consecutive 3-pointers, effectively sealing the win for Phoenix. O'Neale's additional 3-pointer further extended the Suns' lead, making it difficult for Los Angeles to stage a late comeback.


Phoenix received balanced scoring from all five starters, with Allen leading the way with 24 points, including six 3-pointers. O'Neale contributed 20 points, connecting on six shots from beyond the arc, and also grabbed nine rebounds. Jusuf Nurkic delivered a strong performance with a double-double, tallying 18 points and an impressive 22 rebounds, falling just one board short of his career high. Nurkic also showcased his playmaking ability with seven assists.

The Suns' offensive success was fueled by efficient ball movement, as evidenced by their 32 assists on 44 made field goals. Devin Booker led the team with nine assists while also contributing 21 points to the scoring effort. Kevin Durant added 22 points and seven assists to help secure the victory for Phoenix.

For the Lakers, LeBron James and Anthony Davis posted double-doubles in a losing effort. James led all scorers with 28 points and dished out 12 assists, while Davis contributed 22 points and 14 rebounds. D'Angelo Russell chipped in with 20 points and seven assists for Los Angeles.

Despite shooting a respectable 52.2 percent from the field and 42.9 percent from beyond the arc, the Lakers struggled at the free-throw line, converting just 4 of 8 attempts. In contrast, the Suns capitalized on their opportunities from the charity stripe, making 18 of 19 free throws.

Overall, Phoenix's balanced scoring attack, combined with timely shooting from Allen and O'Neale, proved to be the difference-maker as they secured their victory over the Lakers.
