Olympics Gold Medalist Trinity Rodman Talks About Her Strained Relationship With Her Father Dennis Rodman

Reputed soccer player Trinity Rodman made headlines after opening up on her relationship with her father Dennis Rodman. The NBA star was publicly denounced by his daughter Trinity Rodman which drew media attention and the father-daughter duo have already become the talk of the town.
Reportedly, the Washington Spirits alum criticized her father Dennis Rodman for being absent for maximum part of her life during an appearance on a widely watched podcast.

During a recent appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast hosted by Alex Cooper, Olympics gold medalist Trinity Rodaman spoke about her volatile relationship with her athlete father Dennis Rodman. The 22-year-old did not hesitate for a minute before talking about the NBA star. She said-
“He’s not a dad. Maybe by blood, but nothing else. Hearing his voice is painful.”
Despite being an NBA star’s daughter, the Washington Spirits star further revealed that she was forced to live in a car. She recalled-
“We had (a Ford) Expedition and we kind of lived in that for a little bit,” she said. “We tried to live with him, but he’s having parties 24/7, he is bringing random b*tches in. He loves the spotlight. He loves the cameras.”

While talking about the divorce of her parents, Trinity Rodman revealed that she was even deprived of monetary assistance by her father. She said-
“Before the divorce (from Trinity’s mother Michelle Moyer in 2012) happened, my dad was actually helping money wise. He would actually give money to my mom and let us kind of live life a little bit, but then when the divorce happened, it was just like, ‘F**k you guys.’
The revelations made in the Podcast by Trinity Rodman has already set the internet on fire. The scathing words reached her father Dennis Rodman. The NBA star even reacted to his daughter’s words.

Dennis Rodman’s life has been an open book. The five-time NBA champion took to social media and went ahead with explaining his perspective as a father after his daughter Trinity Rodman crityicized him for never being ther for her as a father figure.
He shared a heart-touching video of his good time with Trinity and acknowledged that he was not the best dad but he always tried. His post mentioned-
“Sorry I wasn’t the Dad you wanted me to be but either way I still tried and I still Try and Never will Stop. I will keep trying even when you’re being told as an adult not to respond to my phone calls. I will try even when it’s difficult and if it takes a long time.”

He further elaborated in the post-
“I’m always here And tell you all the time whether it’s your voice or voicemail how proud I am. I always had one wish and it was I wish my kids would call me and come see me. Hopefully one day I can get that. I’m here and I’m still trying pick up the phone you have my number, You see me calling, I’m still here Dennis RODMAN- Dad.”
However, Dennis Rodman has not lived with his three kids for the maximum part of their lives. His eldest daughter Alexis enjoys a quiet life, while DJ, his youngest is a budding basketball player and even played for the G-League recently. Trinity is the most popular amongst his kids, she is a power forward for the Washington Spirit.
