Miami Heat star Kevin Love plays as a power forward and is known for making cheeky remarks about anything and everything. Just a couple weeks back he compared his own team's poor performance to that of an Only Fans model. And now, he has taken a jab at his own teammate with a clip from the Safdie Brothers directorial - Uncut Gems. Terry Rozier, who plays as a point guard for the Heat, is currently under investigation due to unusual betting patterns.

Miami Heat's Star Kevin Love is ready with yet another dig

Kevin Love is known for his out-of-the-box comments and cheeky remarks. This time, the cheekiness is directed at his teammate Terry Rozier, who is being invested because of a betting scandal. Love recently took to his Instagram handle and posted a clip from the movie Uncut Gems, starring Adam Sandler, captioning it with a cheeky "Ayo - f**k goin’ on?"

In the scene, Sandler's character, Howard Ratner, is seen talking to Kevin Garnett's character, who is a fictionalized version of himself during his Boston Celtics years. The two characters discuss gambling, where Sandler's character convinces Garnett's fictional version that he'll place a bet on him, all in the bane of performing well.
This is a direct dig at what has been going on with Scary Terry at the moment. Federal authorities are investigating Rozier after unusual betting patterns were noticed during a game when he was still with the Charlotte Hornets. Although no foul has been found in accordance with NBA rules, things are still not out of the range of fire.

Terry Rozier is not yet out of the woods

Terry Rozier is not facing any charges yet, after being under investigation due to a betting probe, for alleged game stat tampering. He has not made any comments on the matter, but things are not looking good for him in this light. After observing unusual betting patterns in a game he played for the Hornets late in the 2022-23 season, he was put under investigation.
According to ESPN, that was his last game of the season, which was against the New Orleans Pelicans. But he has not been charged with anything yet, and NBA spokesperson, Mike Bass said:
“In March 2023, the NBA was alerted to unusual betting activity related to Terry Rozier’s performance in a game between Charlotte and New Orleans. The league conducted an investigation and did not find a violation of NBA rules. We are now aware of an investigation by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York related to this matter and have been cooperating with that investigation.”

But if this new investigation by the federal authorities finds anything incriminating, Terry Rozier could be in some serious trouble. He is steering clear of this for now, but he is not completely out of the woods yet.
