Listed below are the full details of what each team received in this massive trade centered around De’Aaron Fox and Zach LaVine:

Sacramento Kings receive:

- Zach LaVine
- Sidy Cissoko
- 2025 CHO first-round pick (protected 1-14)
- 2027 SAS unprotected first-round pick
- 2031 MIN unprotected first-round pick
- Three second-round picks (2025 CHI, 2028 DEN, 2028 own)

San Antonio Spurs receive:

- De'Aaron Fox
- Jordan McLaughlin

Chicago Bulls receive:

- Zach Collins
- Tre Jones
- Kevin Huerter
- Own 2025 first-round pick back from the Spurs
From the looks of it, the Chicago Bulls are now back to rebuilding for the future. Meanwhile, the Spurs and the Kings have added players that can help them find success in the long term. It wouldn’t be surprising if the Kings use their abundance of draft picks to get more players on the roster. Furthermore, they might even decide to trade Zach LaVine before the trade deadline.
On the other hand, the Spurs have formed a star duo by pairing De’Aaron Fox and Victor Wembanyama. Both Fox and Wembanyama have been sensational this season, averaging 25 points, 5 rebounds, and 6.1 assists and 24.6 points, 10.9 rebounds, and 3.6 assists, respectively. Fox is an elite playmaker who excels at running pick-and-rolls.
When paired with Wembanyama, these two will form one of the deadliest one-two punches in the league. It is also worth mentioning that both men can also get it done on the defensive end. If they click together, the Spurs might surprise everyone this season.
At the time of writing, the Spurs are 12th in the Western Conference with a record of 21-25. They are three wins away from the 10th seed, the last play-in spot. If Fox and Wembanyama can gel together, nothing will stop this team from grabbing that spot and booking a place in the playoffs.
