LeBron James takes second spot on a coveted list

LeBron James is one of the most prolific athletes of this generation. An active player for the Los Angeles Lakers, he has been selected for the NBA All-Star Weekend games this season, which is his 22nd nod from the league. But along with this, he is also on his way to achieving another career-best record. After his last game, James has made 8532 free throws. With this, he has taken over Moses Malone's spot on the list and become the 2nd player with the highest number of free throws.

He has to take over Karl Malone, who has the top spot for now with 9787 free throws. But James has moved from the third to the second spot and now has only one other hurdle on his way before he can become the player with the most free throws made of all time. Becoming the all-time leader of this table will not be easy, but if LeBron James keeps going the way he is, it won't be long.
