NEW DELHI: In the NBA's in-season tournament opener, the Denver Nuggets defeated the Dallas Mavericks with a score of 125-114. This was the first game for both teams in the tournament, and both will be part of the West Group B in the tournament.

It's worth noting that the Mavericks were without their head coach, Jason Kidd, who didn't make the trip due to a non-COVID illness. Assistant coach Sean Sweeney took over as the acting head coach.
The Nuggets will host the Los Angeles Clippers in their next game in West Group B on November 14, while the Mavericks will face the Clippers on November 10.
