The game between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Los Angeles Lakers was full of high-octane moments. But it all came to a standstill when Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards got into a little altercation with his ex-teammate and now Lakers forward Jarred Vanderbilt. The two had to be separated by other players and officials after heated words turned into physical shoves. By the third quarter, Edwards received his 16th technical foul of the season, leading to his ejection from the game, as he now faces a suspension.

The game between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Los Angeles Lakers was filled with tension from the very beginning. The first half saw Edwards and Vanderbilt getting into an altercation, leading to Edwards getting a technical foul from the officials. He had already tallied a total of 14 technical fouls this season before the game started. And by the 1st half of the game, he had his 15th TF.


Unfortunately for the Timberwolves guard, he received another technical foul during the third quarter of the game, prompting his ejection from the game. In his frustration, Edwards threw a ball at the stands, before going off-court. Now, unless one of the technical fouls received by him is rescinded, Edwards is facing a suspension for the next game.

Fans are having a field day on social media after Anthony Edwards' ejection. Some are calling him the next Draymond, while others are asking if he can ever control his temper. Edwards had a total tally of 15 fouls last season and managed to avoid the one-game suspension. Unfortunately for him, this season he will be facing the mandatory one-game suspension when the Timberwolves face the Utah Jazz next.

Draymond Green, who is another player known for collecting technical fouls like candies, has 11 this season. That means he is a little away from facing a possible suspension. As for Edwards, he will be missing the next game the Timberwolves will be playing against the Jazz.
