Anthony Edwards, the high-flying, electrifying guard for the Minnesota Timberwolves, is facing a paternity battle that's as messy as one of his highlight-reel dunks. Social media influencer Ayesha Howard, mother to the NBA star's alleged daughter, Aubri' Summers, recently dropped a bombshell: alleged text messages between the two. These texts, paint a picture of a back-and-forth between the two, with Edwards' reported response to Howard considering an abortion being a particularly explosive point of contention. The timing couldn't be worse: Edwards filed for a paternity test just weeks prior.

Anthony Edwards’ Alleged Messages to Ayesha Howard Add Fuel to Paternity Fight

Leaked messages, allegedly exchanged between Edwards and social media influencer Ayesha Howard, have ignited a fiery paternity battle. Howard, who welcomed a daughter named Aubri' Summers in late October, claims the texts reveal a chillingly dismissive response from Edwards when she informed him of her pregnancy.

"Get the abortion LOL," Edwards allegedly wrote in February 2024. The alleged conversation escalated in March, with Edwards reportedly declaring, "I won't be in a child's life I don't want" and even calling Howard "sick." Howard, who also shares a son with rapper Lil Baby, has remained steadfast, insisting on his involvement in Aubri's life despite his initial reluctance.

This isn't Edwards' first brush with paternity drama. Back in December 2023, Instagram model Paige Jordae leaked texts between the two, alleging Edwards got her pregnant and paid her $100,000 to terminate the pregnancy. Edwards issued a public apology on X, acknowledging his inappropriate comments and emphasizing that women should have the right to make their own decisions about their bodies.

The tweet reads, "I made comments in the heat of a moment that are not me, and that are not aligned with what I believe and who I want to be as a man," Edwards wrote. "All women should be supported and empowered to make their own decisions about their bodies and what is best for them. I am handling my personal matters privately and will not be commenting on them any further at this time."
