Megan Thee Stallion changing profession? Rapper shows off surprising pastry chef skills during stylish Winter Olympics visit

Megan Thee Stallion's passion for cooking is not hidden. Klay Thompson, a star for the Dallas Mavericks and her boyfriend, has proudly stated that his favorite dish of the self-proclaimed home cook is this one. She tried her hand at pastry cooking during her recent appearance at the Winter Olympics.

The three-time Grammy winner stated that her passion for cooking plays a significant role in her off-stage life in an interview with TODAY in collaboration with Dunkin'. According to Megan, her favorite foods include spaghetti, oxtails, and roast beef with potatoes. She also cooks pasta with catfish, a Southern specialty, for her boyfriend Klay Thompson.

Meg is now trying to be a pastry chef. She recently took to Instagram and wrote:

Meg has previously mentioned how much she enjoys cooking. The "Whenever" rapper posted a collection of videos on August 19 showing her preparing and serving Thompson, 35, a plate of catfish and pasta with red sauce and Hawaiian buns on the side several times. During the voiceover, Megan stated:

“So Klay had never had catfish and spaghetti together before, and ever since the first time I made it for him, he asks for this s--- like every week.”




A contented Thompson should be seen waiting for his plate while the rapper cooks the fish herself and stirs the crimson sauce in the video. Thompson responded, in between slurps of spaghetti, when Megan asked him what he thought of her meal:

“So good. Flawless.”

The four-time NBA champion declared in a different video clip:

“This is the best meal I have ever tasted. It is my favorite meal.”

Additionally, Megan asked him in jest, "What's it giving?" to which he replied in jest, but with clarity, "It's giving greatness" and "amazing," before wiping his plate clean.

Speaking with TODAY.com in collaboration with Dunkin', the three-time Grammy winner also discusses how her love of cooking plays a significant role in her off-stage life. She has ascended from modest beginnings to the pinnacle of the music industry with multiple No. 1 hits and a full season in her musical chokehold.

“It’s something as basic as a breakfast sandwich,” she says, adding that her cooking often skews Southern due to her roots. “It’s just bread, scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, little hot sauce, little mayo, and I don’t know why it tastes so good.”

Megan regularly flexes her culinary muscles online, sharing restaurant reviews and cooking tutorials. In addition, she prepared various dishes for the occasion, including dressing, mac & cheese, and turkey, on the day she met the family of her boyfriend, Klay Thompson.

She had also added a saucy bean dish on her table. When asked for the recipe, during an interview with Today, she said:

“I mean, I can’t just be giving out my secret recipes now. My grandma would be in an uproar, OK?” she told me at the time, but she did offer a dash of knowledge I could use: “Just know that it’s packed with lots of meat, lots of vegetables.”

Her soothing original song for the commercial complements the drink's subtle sweetness and mango flavor. Hence, she is busy with the new release.
