On September 4, Caitlin Clark took to Instagram and gave a major update on her injury. The player won’t be returning for the rest of the season. Clark tried her best to get back to the court. How did Caitlin Clark get injured?
Caitlin Clark delivered a historic rookie year in 2024. After becoming the Rookie of the Year, the Indiana Fever Star had a grand opening to her second year in the league. However, fate had different plans. In a match against the Connecticut Sun, the player sustained a severe groin injury. She has not played since July 15. While there were hopes of her returning, her second year in the league has officially come to an end.
Clark has played only 13 games in 2025, averaging a score of 16.5 points with 8.8 assists. Before her last match on July 15, Caitlin also suffered other injuries, including one in her hamstring. The multiple injuries have forced the star player to a corner and recover completely before getting back in action once again.
