Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is one of the biggest stars in NBA history. After recently celebrating his 40th birthday, the legend now has another reason to bring out the party hats. His second son Bryce James, who will be 18 this year, has chosen his career opportunity. ESPN scouts ranked Bryce a four-star prospect. He appeared in 14 games for his dad's Strive for Greatness program, posting averages of 6.9 points and 2.2 rebounds to go along with 39 percent field shooting and 36.8% three-point range.

LeBron James’ son Bryce will be a WILDCAT

Bryce James will be joining the Arizona Wildcats For his college basketball career. The 17-year-old decked up in his Wildcat gear posted a couple pictures of himself on his father's social media to announce his decision to go to Arizona next fall. Bryce also had offers from Duquesne Dukes and Ohio State Buckeyes, but chose the Arizona Wildcats over them.

The Lakers star could not be more proud of his son on taking the first step of his collegiate career, as he captioned the pictures: “Official threads !!!! AYYYYEEEEEEE. SO @_justbryce. TF. LET’S GOOOOOOOOO #JamesGang


Before Bryce, James’ first son, Bronny, also took his first step to a college basketball career, and chose to play for the USC Trojans. Now his brother has chosen to go to Arizona instead of staying in LA, but the parents are proud of their sons either way.

Not just the NBA GOAT, his wife Savannah James, Bryce's mother also could not contain her happiness. She posted on her Instagram: “So proud of you @_justbryce!! Your silent hustle has definitely not gone unnoticed!! I’m so excited for you and I can’t wait to cheer you on through this journey! Down!

LeBron James, after the Lakers win over the Portland Trail Blazers said of his son's decision. "Well, this is his decision to make and he went where he felt comfortable. Straight shooter, coach Lloyd, straight shooter. Gave him exactly what they believed in or what they thought about him as a person, as a player.”

Seems like the James family is very happy with this next part of their son's future career as a pro basketball player.
