Kiyan Anthony continues to dominate as New York’s top prospect

Kiyan delivered a stellar 20-point, nine-rebound performance, shooting an efficient 6-of-10 from the field and 2-of-5 from three-point range in the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League matchup. His ability to perform under pressure is one of the reasons he’s ranked as New York’s No. 1 high school prospect for the Class of 2025 by 247Sports.

Despite his undeniable talent and growing reputation, Kiyan was not selected as an All-American this year while other highly hyped prospects like Cameron Boozer, Cayden Boozer, and Alijah Arenas made the list. However, this hasn’t slowed him down. He continues to prove why he belongs among the nation’s elite, using every game as an opportunity to showcase his skill and determination.

A special win against his father’s former school

Just a day before his standout performance against Brewster Academy, Kiyan took on Oak Hill Academy, the very school where Carmelo Anthony made a name for himself as a high school star. With his father watching courtside, Kiyan stepped up in a big way, dropping 25 points and leading LUHI to a thrilling 71-61 comeback win.

After the game, Kiyan reflected on the special moment of going up against his father’s alma mater.

"I just love the game, so I'm always locked in and competing at the highest level is fun to me." "But, yeah, it's definitely cool to be able to play against my dad's old school and get the win," he said. (via: Sportskeeda)

With each game, Kiyan Anthony continues to make a strong case as one of the top young talents in the country. His skill, confidence, and ability to perform in big moments set him apart, and it's clear he has the potential to follow in his father’s footsteps while also forging his own unique path. As the high school basketball season continues, all eyes will be on Kiyan to see just how far his talent can take him.
