Kyrie Irving takes Christmas to another level with jaw-dropping surprise for Dallas Mavericks teammates

Christmas just got bigger within the NBA. Just days after Luka Doncic decided to surprise his Los Angeles Lakers squad with 100+ e-bikes, now it is Kyrie Irving with a jaw-dropping gift. The Dallas Mavericks star took it to another level by gifting personalized golf carts to his teammates. His team members could be seen getting excited by this gesture. Most of them immediately took the cart out for a drive. Their reactions were priceless.

Kyrie has not returned to the court yet. He has been away due to a torn ACL injury that he sustained in March 2025. Even though he could not contribute in racking up wins for his team, the veteran has always been there supporting his team from the bench. Now the legend decided to boost the morale of the team with this early Christmas surprise.

Christmas came early for the Dallas Mavericks. The legend Kyrie Irving decided to take the festive mood to another level with a huge surprise for his teammates. He gifted each of his teammates a personalized golf cart. Manufactured by Denago, each one of the carts had the name of the respective player on it. The teammates were way beyond excited to receive the gesture. As the players admired the gift, Kyrie stated, “Shoutout to the Dallas Mavericks, y’all.”


Cooper Flagg was one of the first ones to take out his cart for a drive. The player admired the gift and commented while driving his cart, “It’s a beautiful day in Dallas…Kai just got us a gift, you know. Blessed to be here. Go Mavs baby.” Klay Thompson had one of the most hilarious reactions. As he proceeded to try out his cart, the athlete at one point couldn’t control it and the cart went off-road. Klay hilariously covered it up, saying that's where his balls are at usually and he was checking the suspension of the cart. Apart from them, other players who got featured in the clip admiring and checking out the gift included Dwight Powell, Anthony Davis, Brandon Williams, Jaden Hardy and Moussa Cisse.

Cooper Flagg issues heartfelt response to Kyrie Irving’s gesture

Moments after Kyrie Irving surprised the Dallas Mavericks with the grand gesture, rookie player Cooper Flagg issued a heartfelt response. Cooper stated, “Kai is an incredible human being. He's looked out for us this whole year & for me, ever since I got here.”


He further added, “He's just been a really good vet for me. He's just a kind-hearted person. That's a really cool gift & really cool thing to do and it's gonna be a lot of fun." It looks like even though Kyrie has been out of the court, the player still has an influence on his teammates, especially rookie player Flagg.
