NEW DELHI: Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic led the Dallas Mavericks to a 109-95 victory over the visiting Atlanta Hawks on Thursday. Irving scored 26 points, while Doncic contributed 25 points, 12 rebounds, and eight assists. The win solidified the Mavericks' hold on the No. 5 spot in the Western Conference.

P.J. Washington added 19 points and eight rebounds, and Derrick Jones Jr. scored 14 points for Dallas, which has won eight of its past nine games. Bogdan Bogdanovic led the Hawks with 17 points and seven rebounds, while Dejounte Murray chipped in 16 points.

Atlanta led 31-25 after the first quarter but saw the Mavericks take control in the second, outscoring them 40-26 to take a 65-57 lead into halftime. Dallas extended its lead to as many as 17 points in the third quarter before entering the fourth with a 93-81 advantage.

Although the Hawks cut the deficit to seven points early in the fourth, Irving's timely 3-pointer halted their momentum and helped the Mavericks secure the win. Both teams were missing key players due to injuries, with Dallas playing without Josh Green and Dereck Lively II, and Atlanta missing Trae Young and Onyeka Okongwu.

The Mavericks will next face the Golden State Warriors at home on Friday, while the Hawks will conclude their two-game road trip against the Denver Nuggets on Saturday.
