Her latest business milestone reveals her knack for entrepreneurship with personal vision. The Popeyes restaurant is located in the heart of South Beach. The opening followed months of anticipation after Megan shared behind-the-scenes looks at the project on social media. The combo includes a chicken sandwich, three-piece tenders, six-piece bone-in wings, red beans and rice, and mac and cheese. The restaurant is expected to support philanthropic community outreach programs. Away from business launches and brand deals, Megan also spoke about a different passion that stays rooted at home. In an interview with TODAY.com, she shared how cooking plays a meaningful role in her life.“You would not think that people are walking around my house asking me to make them food, but that is definitely happening to me,” she says.Her cooking leans Southern, shaped by family traditions and comfort dishes. “It’s something as basic as a breakfast sandwich,” she says. “It’s just bread, scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, little hot sauce, little mayo, and I don’t know why it tastes so good.” Her regular rotation includes roast beef with potatoes, oxtails, and spaghetti, a dish she often prepares for boyfriend Klay Thompson.Megan draws a clear line when it comes to sharing family recipes. “I mean, I can’t just be giving out my secret recipes now. My grandma would in an uproar, OK?” she says. “Just know that it’s packed with lots of meat, lots of vegetables.”It is possible that the Sweetest Pie singer will add some of her family recipes in the menu.
