Megan will take over the role of Zidler, becoming the first female-identifying performer to play the character in any production worldwide. It’s an unmissable moment for both Megan’s fans and ours.”

The role expands Megan’s résumé, which already includes hosting Saturday Night Live and acting appearances across film and television.

While celebrating her Broadway leap, Megan’s recent words fuel fresh engagement chatter linked to her relationship with Thompson.

“I've received quite a bit of attention for my appearance as well as my talent,” she wrote in The New York Times. “I choose my own clothing. Let me repeat: I choose what I wear, not because I am trying to appeal to men, but because I am showing pride in my appearance, and a positive body image is central to who I am as a woman and a performer.”

She also told GQ, “I want us to be sassier. I want us to demand more, be more outspoken, keep speaking and just keep demanding what you deserve.” Megan further shared that she’s “manifesting” her engagement as well.
