James Harden led the Los Angeles Clippers to dominate the Charlotte Hornets in a recent game on Monday. The talented guard led the franchise to their fourth victory out of five games, while writing a history on his name. Reportedly, Harden went on to surpass NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal on the league’s all-time scoring list.
The Clippers’ guard made a three-pointer during the first quarter of the game, pushing his career total straightaway to 28,598 points in his 1,187th regular-season match, whereas the Los Angeles Lakers’ icon had secured 28,596 points in 1,207 games over 19 years. James Harden even reflected on his performance and his newly achieved feat. During a post game interview, he said,
"The most dominant big man in the history of the game. It's a true honor. It's a testament to the work that I put in, and it's all glory to God.”
The Los Angeles Clippers’ icon James Harden is currently in his 17th NBA season during the ongoing season. With his new achievement, he is gradually moving towards the list of the NBA’s top scorers of all time, including Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Karl Malone, Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, Dirk Nowitzki, and Kevin Durant.
