In her heartfelt book about life and marriage You Got Anything Stronger, Gabrielle Union wrote about the moment she and Dwyanr Wade accompanied their surrogate for their first ultrasound.
Gabrielle Union wrote, “It was suddenly incredibly real…Dwyane took my hand, and there was so much happiness on his face, I lost it.”
The popular actress added, “My cry was a choke stopped up in my throat, tears streaming down.”
The Being Mary Jane’s star actress continued, “It was grief…I’d had so many miscarriages … looking at the screen, I understood how many potential babies I had lost. That’s why I was crying.”
Over the last few years, Dwyane Wade and his wife, Gabrielle Union, have been pretty public about how the two have struggled before they welcomed their daughter into the world.
Gabrielle Union has been vocal about how she has had “8 to 9 miscarriages” as she tried to expand her family with the former Miami Heat legend, Dwyane Wade.
Gabrielle Union also struggled as Dwyane Wade had children with his ex wife and a friend
To make matters worse, Gabrielle Union also struggled mentally as the NBA legend, Dwyane Wade, already had a few children of his own with his ex wife and a long term friend.
This also led to the popular actress to contemplate ending their marriage as she struggled with fertility issues.
Fortunately, things turned around for the high profile couple as Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union ended up choosing surrogacy as a final option even though the popular actress wanted to explore more options to get pregnant.
However, the NBA legend reassured his wife that surrogacy would be their safest option as her body and mind had already been through a lot.
In 2018, Dwyane Wade and his wife, Gabrielle Union, welcomed their only child into the world and seem to be in the happiest phases of their lives since then.
