Kevin Durant is one of basketball’s most prolific scorers, even as he enters the later stages of his legendary career. In the Houston Rockets’ most recent game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Durant scored around 39 points, proving that he can still take over games when and if needed. Durant's teammates like Reed Sheppard and Amen Thompson also contributed significantly with their exceptional performances, showing why the Rockets’ young generation is drawing attention in recent times.

"What kind of energy KD are (the young guys) bringing to you every night when you're out there?”. He instantly replied with a simple yet bold answer:

“I bring the energy, bro. I'm just letting you know”.




Kevin Durant's playful reply instantly caught the fans’ attention over social media. At first, Durant's answer might have felt like a joke, like him taking credit, however, what he really meant to say was that even though young players like Sheppard and Thompson bring the energy, acknowledging their efforts, his presence is still central to how the team performs every night.
