Stephen Curry and Andrew Wiggins led the Warriors with 29 points each, aiming to force a three-way tie atop the group. However, the Kings mounted a comeback, outscoring the Warriors 69-51 in the second half. The Warriors held a 24-point lead in the second period but couldn't maintain their advantage.

De'Aaron Fox played a crucial role for the Kings, matching Curry and Wiggins with a game-high 29 points. Malik Monk and Kevin Huerter contributed 21 points each for the Kings, while Domantas Sabonis recorded 10 assists and eight rebounds.

The Warriors had a chance to force a tiebreaker if they won by at least 12 points, but Monk's late-game heroics, including a crucial steal and a 3-pointer, secured the win for the Kings. The Warriors finished group play with a 2-2 record and lost key players Chris Paul and Gary Payton II to leg injuries during the game.

With the win, the Kings advanced to the tournament quarterfinals and will face the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday.
