La La Anthony has been friends with Taylor for a long time. She had openly supported Teyana Taylor during her much-hyped beef with famous YouTuber Nicole Kayla. The singer and actor is quite popular for her collaborations with famous music personalities like Usher, Omarion, and Chris Brown. Taylor rose to fame with Kanye West’s Good Music label back in 2012.

Teyana Taylor Talks About Her Ex-Partner Iman Shumpert

Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert secretly tied the knot in 2016 and separated in 2o23. Reportedly, the singer filed for divorce in January 2023 but announced it in September.


Despite being legally separated the ex-couple believes in working as a unit for the welfare of their kids. As reported by the media outlet People, Teyana Taylor mentioned-


"We are still the best of friends, great business partners, and are one hell of a team when it comes to co-parenting our 2 beautiful children. Most importantly we are FAMILY & in the 10 years together, 7 years married we ain’t ever played with or about THAT."

While talking about her separation from her ex-husband Iman Shumpert, Teyana Taylor requested her fans and followers for privacy during the toughest times of her life. She posted-

"I mind my business, don't bother nobody & y'all know I've never played about my children, family & our privacy. I have not spoken on this private matter to any media outlets or blogs etc."

She further added-

“So everyone claiming 'Teyana said' didn't get any statements directly from ME. These statements were taken from private court documents that were leaked to the public. It is very heartbreaking that someone would take the time to make such a private matter public for the world to see."

The NBA star and Taylor met each other during a party back in 2011. They got married in 2016 and share two adorable daughters named Junie Rose and Rue Rose.
