’On Wednesday night’s episode of NBA Tip-Off with Shaquille O’Neal, Charles Barkley, Kenny “The Jet” Smith and Ernie Johnson, the panel while talking to NBA insider Shams Charania’ were faced with an unexpected situation as Charania’s words were cut-off due to technical glitch and soon went static.

“Well, it was fun while it lasted,” said Ernie Johnson to ease the awkward silence after the glitch. But not Charles Barkley. Barkley got the perfect material for a punch and he didn’t disappoint. Addressing the issue, Barkley hilariously said, “ESPN, pay your bills, man...I know times are tough."

The panel couldn’t contain their laughter upon hearing the comment, but Barkley was just warming up. He jokingly added, “Shams Charania just forgot to pay his phone bill."

The casual jab quickly went viral on social media platforms and served the fans with another classic Chuck moment. But this comment has come at a time when Charles Barkley has been public about his critique of ESPN’s working style.

Discovery (TNT's parent company) and was later shifted to ESPN this season.

Barkley has been vocal about his frustration with the move, repeatedly making it clear he won't be joining ESPN's other shows. "I'm not going to do all these damn shows.I’m not gonna be on ESPN One, Two, Three, Deportes, Nacho, Echo... I'm not gonna be doing all that," Barkley remarked recently.
