Attending the team’s game against the Detroit Pistons, Renee proudly shared snapshots from the Chase Center jumbotron, sharing both her husband's and Steph Curry’s career milestones. Green and Curry’s latest achievement gained wide social media praise. The icing on the cake for Green was the heartfelt message he received from his beloved wife.

In her first post, Hazel Renee shared Draymond Green’s historic accomplishment of becoming the player with the second-most assists in the Golden State Warriors' history. Accompanying the image, she poured out her admiration with a heartfelt caption: "Last Night & A win!! My love just keeps climbing yall❤️."

Green has been one of the standout stars of the Warriros, and the veteran has been with the team in his long tenure with the team. Renee's praise didn’t stop there. In another post, she turned the spotlight on Stephen Curry, who reached the incredible milestone of 25,000 career points in Golden State’s 115-110 victory. The superstar guard contributed 32 points, three rebounds, and four assists.

“The Warriors also showered praise for the veteran, 4,856 dimes and counting! Draymond Green has passed Guy Rodgers for 2nd most assists in franchise history ��,” the team’s official handle wrote on X.

Over the last decade, the Golden State Warriors’ reigns have largely been credited to Steph Curry’s brilliance, but no championship run is built alone. Klay Thompson (before joining the Dallas Mavericks in 2024) and Draymond Green made their immense contribution in shaping the franchise’s identity.

Since being drafted 35th overall in 2012, Green has been the heart of Golden State’s defense and a crucial player. Over 13 seasons, he has averaged 8.7 points, 6.2 rebounds, 5.6 assists, and 1.3 steals per game, earning four All-Star selections and two All-NBA nods.

In a win over the Detroit Pistons, Green recorded 12 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists, and 3 steals in 31 minutes. More importantly, his 4,859th career assist pushed him past Guy Rodgers for second place on the Warriors’ all-time assists leaderboard. The only player ahead of him? His longtime teammate and fellow franchise icon, Steph Curry.

While Hazel is no stranger to celebrating her husband’s success, she previously opened up about another personal experience, her whirlwind romance with Draymond. During an episode of Everybody’s Crazy, a caller asked for advice on how long one should wait before getting married once they find the right person. Hazel, drawing from her own experience, offered a refreshingly honest response.

“As someone who was in a rather moving fast relationship, I’m happily married,” she shared. Hazel and Draymond, despite only being married for two years, have been together since their college days. But even before their relationship became public, she admitted there were aspects of their journey she hadn’t shared until now.

“It was like a hurricane of fun and crazy and, like, we were just feeling all the things and we moved so fast that, whoo hoo, you just have to be ready for that,” she said of her relationship with Green.

She added, “What I will say is, do not sabotage what’s good. Let the good come. Don’t question it. If it feels good to you, hold on to that. Don’t let anybody else get in your head. Like, it feels good to you, then that’s what matters.”
