A tragic event occurred during the Detroit Pistons' 105-96 victory over the Orlando Magic on Wednesday. Early in the fourth quarter, Magic guard Cole Anthony accidentally bumped into Jaden Ivey’s left leg while trying to steal the ball, causing a serious injury. Ivey stayed on the floor in pain, leaving the audience at Little Caesars Arena in shock. Medical staff quickly rushed to help him, while players from both teams crowded around, visibly upset by what had happened.

Cole Anthony was very upset as he saw Ivey in pain, with tears running down his face. The Orlando Magic guard looked heartbroken, probably feeling bad for accidentally injuring Ivey and possibly ending his season. Soon after, Ivey was taken off the court on a stretcher, and the mood in the arena became very sad. Cole Anthony wasn’t the only one affected by the incident. Detroit guard Ausar Thompson and head coach J.B. Bickerstaff also looked very upset and emotional by the heartbreaking turn of events.

Detroit Pistons head coach J.B. Bickerstaff was emotional after the game as he talked about Jaden Ivey’s serious injury. He shared his thoughts on the locker room atmosphere, mentioning how the players have a strong bond and truly care for each other, especially in such a tough moment.

"It’s tough. No better teammate, person than JI," Bickerstaff said. "No one cares more about this thing than him. It’s tough to see. They care about each other, and they care about JI and what this means to him and the sacrifices he’s made within his game, within himself to help this team. They banded together because they know that’s what he would’ve wanted him to do."

Meanwhile, Ivey played 27 minutes and scored 22 points before leaving the game. He hit 8 out of 11 shots, including 5 out of 6 from 3-point range. And, he also had one rebound, four assists, and one steal.

Fans showed a lot of empathy for Jaden Ivey after he was seen in excruciating pain. One commentor said, "Damn that was tough to watch. F**k the injuries bruh!" Another concerned fan said, "I don't like watching injuries.. can someone describe what happened to Ivey?"
