After defeating Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday’s game that ended 115-114, the Hornets aimed to defeat their next opponent but fell short of getting close to victory as the Cavs retained their glorious legacy with a 15-0 streak. Cleveland Cavaliers beats Charlotte Hornets to retain their streak

The Cleveland Cavaliers are unstoppable as they refused to face defeat in their 15 games this season. Now, with a commanding 128-114 win over the Charlotte Hornets, they’ve extended their winning streak to an incredible 15 games. This run puts them in elite company, as only four other teams in NBA history were able to achieve such a strong start to start a stunning streak.

In the game, however, the Cavaliers had their struggle despite the stunning victory. 23-year-old, Isaac Okoro played for 14 minutes in the first half, scoring six points. However, he didn’t return to the court after halftime. The team later announced he had suffered a left ankle sprain.

In the third quarter, Dean Wade had an awkward landing on Jarrett Allen’s foot while going up for a rebound. He stayed down for a moment before limping to the bench. Shortly after, Wade headed back to the locker room for further evaluation.

Hornets’ LaMelo Ball scored an astonishing 31 points. However, Cavs’ Ty Jerome emerged as the game-changer as he stepped into the starting role with Mitchell sidelined and finished with a career-best 24 points. His contribution was quite important for the team. The Cavs' frontcourt also delivered their best with Jarrett Allen putting up 25 points and 15 rebounds. Further, Mobley added 23 points, 11 rebounds, and sealed the win with a crucial block on Brandon Miller in the final minutes.
