In fact, the G League has served as a springboard for players like Grizzlies guard Scotty Pippen Jr. and Hornets sharpshooter Seth Curry, who used their time there to sharpen their game before making waves in the NBA.

As Bronny continues his rookie journey, The Sporting News will track his progress in the G League, offering fans a closer look at his growth and potential.

Bronny James' Game Logs with South Bay Lakers for 2024-25 Season

Bronny James' performances in the G League this season have been a mix of ups and downs, showcasing his potential and areas for growth. On December 13th against the Valley Suns, he played 26 minutes, scoring 16 points, grabbing 1 rebound, and dishing out 2 assists, though his shooting struggled with a 30% mark from the field (6-20) and 33.3% from beyond the arc (2-6). Earlier in December, on the 7th, James recorded 16 points and 4 rebounds in 22 minutes, but his 40% shooting from the floor (6-15) and 0% from three (0-4) revealed room for improvement. November saw some struggles, with a quieter outing on the 17th against the Stockton Kings, where he scored just 4 points on 20% shooting (2-10) in 26 minutes. A few days earlier, on November 9th, he logged 31 minutes against the Salt Lake City Stars, tallying 6 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 assists, but his 22.2% shooting from the field (2-9) and 0-4 from deep highlighted the ongoing development he needs.

Bronny's journey in the G League is still unfolding, with flashes of brilliance balanced by opportunities to refine his game.
