NEW DELHI: The Brooklyn Nets secured a convincing 147-114 victory over the Utah Jazz, powered by Mikal Bridges' 33-point performance and Ben Simmons' double-double in his 18-minute return from a back injury.

Bridges had an outstanding game, recording his seventh 30-point performance of the season, making 12 of 24 shots. Cam Thomas contributed 25 points, with 19 coming in the first half, while Lonnie Walker IV added 19 points, and Cameron Johnson scored 17. Dennis Smith Jr. chipped in with 12 points as the Nets finished with a season-high point total.

Simmons, making his return after sitting out the previous 38 games, provided a significant impact with 10 points, 11 assists, and eight rebounds. Although he did not start, Simmons played a crucial role when the Nets outscored the Jazz 21-8 in the final minutes of the first quarter, establishing a 43-28 lead.

Simmons continued to contribute in the third quarter, making key plays on both ends of the floor to help the Nets maintain their lead. The Jazz made a comeback attempt, but the Nets sealed the victory with a strong fourth quarter, highlighted by Nic Claxton's consecutive dunks and Simmons' additional baskets.

The Jazz, despite Keyonte George's 21 points and John Collins' 15, struggled against the Nets' offensive firepower. The combined 5-of-22 shooting from Lauri Markkanen and Collin Sexton limited the Jazz's offensive output.

The win improved the Nets to 28-21 all-time when Simmons has played since his acquisition from the Philadelphia 76ers at the 2022 trade deadline.
