De'Andre Hunter provided a significant boost off the bench for Atlanta, contributing 22 points to the team's winning effort. Dejounte Murray also made a substantial impact with 21 points, nine rebounds, and six assists, further solidifying the Hawks' performance.

Saddiq Bey chipped in with 17 points and nine rebounds, while Clint Capela added 13 points and nine rebounds, contributing to Atlanta's dominance on the boards with a 51-40 rebounding edge over the Knicks. The Hawks also capitalized on their interior presence, outscoring the Knicks 56-40 in points in the paint.

Despite the Knicks' efforts, led by Donte DiVincenzo's 21 points and Bojan Bogdanovic's 19 points off the bench, New York struggled to contain Atlanta's offensive firepower. Precious Achiuwa added 15 points, while Josh Hart contributed 14 points and eight rebounds for the Knicks, who were missing key players such as Jalen Brunson, OG Anunoby, Julius Randle, and Mitchell Robinson due to various injuries.

New York fought back after falling behind by 22 points early in the game, rallying to tie the score at 76-76 in the third quarter. However, Atlanta regained control, closing out the quarter with a 7-2 run to maintain their advantage.

In the fourth quarter, the Knicks made a late push, with Hart hitting back-to-back 3-pointers to trim the Hawks' lead to 95-91. However, Atlanta responded emphatically, embarking on a decisive 21-9 run to seal the victory.

The Hawks' strong start, highlighted by a 33-15 lead after the first quarter, set the tone for the game. Although the Knicks mounted a comeback in the second quarter, cutting the deficit to 42-20, Atlanta's resilience and determination ultimately proved too much for New York to overcome.

With this convincing win, the Hawks avenged previous losses to the Knicks, avoiding a three-game season sweep. As they continue their push for success in the NBA, Atlanta aims to build on this victory and maintain their momentum moving forward.
