Angel Reese and Caleb Williams share more than just being Chicago athletes. In a recent post, the Chicago Sky star revealed how both players have hired the same nail technician. The post came from Reese right after Williams’ newly done nail paint went viral. Caleb caught everyone’s attention with his suicide awareness-based nail paint. The athlete has also painted the emergency number 988 on his nails.
Angel Reese reveals sharing the same nail technician with Caleb Williams
The new nail paint not only caught the attention of the fans but also of athletes across other sports. Especially Angel Reese, who shares the same nail technician as Caleb Williams. Sharing a post highlighting Caleb’s painted nails, Reese wrote, “Love this. My nail tech really wanted to do his nails & she KILLED it! So proud!”
The post shared by Reese stated, “Caleb Williams has the suicide prevention logo and colors painted on his nails for Week 1. He also has 988 for the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.” While Reese and Caleb share the same nail technician, it is, however, not a newfound interest for the NFL star. Caleb’s mother was a nail technician, and it was her work that had an influence on the athlete. During the senior year in high school, Caleb’s mother used to do his nails. Since then, the athlete has had a habit of putting up new designs representing certain causes.
September is suicide prevention month, and Caleb used the opportunity to raise awareness about the issue with his new nail paint. Reese was one of the first athletes to applaud the work on Caleb’s nails.
Is Angel Reese playing against New York Liberty?
Angel Reese has been out of the court since she made the detrimental remarks on the team, the Chicago Sky. She faced a punishment in the form of being banned from the first half of the match against the Indiana Fever. However, the player missed out on the second half as well due to her back flaring up. Reese has previously missed several games due to her injury. She even had to sit out the match against the Las Vegas Aces on Tuesday. The Aces claimed victory with the final score being 92-61.
While fans want to watch their favorite player in action, it is not yet certain if Reese will step onto the court anytime soon. Coach Tyler Marsh revealed that even though the star player wants to be there for the final two games, the team will have a daily inspection of her health before letting her play on the court.
