The 2025 WNBA All-Star Game starters list was released on Monday. Caitlin Clark and Napheesa Collier are the captains of the All-Star game roster. Joining them is Paige Bueckers, the No. 1 draft pick from the Dallas Wings. In total, 10 players have made it to the All-Star Game rosters. They all will contend for proving they are the best among the best on July 19 in Indianapolis.
Among the selected players, Allisha Grey from Atlanta Dream is making her second appearance, whereas it is the fourth All-Star selection for Sabrina lonescu.

The 2025 WNBA All-Star Game is scheduled for July 19 in Indianapolis. All eyes were set on the announcement of the starting roster. The wait is finally over as the complete list of the coveted game starters is out. The list has brought good news for Paige Bueckers fans. The Huskies star is debuting in the All-Star Game.
Earlier on Sunday, Caitlin Clark and Napheesa Collier were announced captains. Caitlin Clark, who is making the All-Star Game roster for the second year, won a record-breaking ~1.2 million fan votes. Closely following her was Napheesa Collier, who garnered massive fan support with ~1.18 million votes, as per a Reuters report.
Starters at guards’ positions are:
- Caitlin Clark
- Paige Bueckers
- Allisha Grey and
- Sabrina Ionescu
The frontcourt positions have gone to six players, namely:
- Napheesa Collier
- A’ja Wilson
- Aliyah Boston
- Breanna Stewart
- Nneka Ogwumike and
- Satou Sabally.
Nneka Ogwumike’s selection is special in being her tenth, leading her to join the elite club of WNBA legends with the highest All-Star selections, like Tamika Catchings and Brittney Griner.
How WNBA All-Star Game starters were selected
The WNBA All-Star Game starters’ selections were made based on fan voting and player and media voting.
The fan voting contributed 50% to the selection decision. Whereas, player and media voting contributed 25% each to the selection.
Paige Bueckers had every reason to smile as she appeared on the coveted list while being just a rookie. She won the sixth-highest fan votes, falling only behind Caitlin Clark among the guards.
The selections are made across the WNBA irrespective of the player’s conference affiliation, an ESPN report suggests. The All-Star selection is a prestigious achievement in a player’s career and indicates excellence in the game as well as popularity among the fans and fraternity.
