Scuffle between protesting wrestlers and Delhi Police personnel at Jantar Mantar: What we know so far

Scuffle broke out between wrestlers and Delhi Police personnel on night of May 3rd at Jantar Mantar. According to Delhi Police, the scuffle broke out when AAP leader Somnath Bharti arrived with beds at protest venue. Police did not allow Bharti’s supporters to take the beds inside protest venue and this led to scuffle. Protesting wrestlers claimed they wanted to bring in wooden benches and extra mattresses as their mattresses had become soggy due to rain.
