Sangram Singh to open a wrestling and fitness academy in Pune

Indian wrestler Sangram Singh has big plans for the youth of the city. During his recent visit, he revealed to TOI that he is planning to open a wrestling and fitness academy for the enthusiasts.
Sangram represented India at the Commonwealth Wrestling Championship, held in South Africa and was also awarded with the World’s Best Professional Wrestler title by the World Wrestling Professionals (WWP) association, South Africa.
In India, early this year, he shared that he wants to support those aspirants who don’t have the monetary support to pursue the sport.
"It was my dream to open an academy for the children who have the potential but are unable to pursue their dream. This academy will focus on youngsters who are very talented but are restricted due to monetary crunch.
And it will be free of cost for them to go ahead and live their dream," he shares. Apart from Pune, he also plans to open the academy in Delhi.
