Shekhar Surve on a roll

MUMBAI: Shekhar Surve, of Shivaji Prk Gymkhana, notched up two impressive wins from group 'E' and has virtually ensured a place in the next stage of the Matunga Gymkhana Invitation billiards tournament, hosted by Matunga Gymkhana.
Shekhar first scored a narrow 3-2 win over Raj Khandwala and followed it by beating Dipendra Pinkyar 3-0.
Internationals Dhruv Sitwala and Devendra Joshi head their respective groups 'B' and Group 'A'.Other winners were former state champion Arun Agrawal, who routed his opponents, Ankit Thakkar and Jaiveer Dhingra with 3-0 wins.
