got off to winning starts in the round-robin phase of the inaugural Masters Snooker National Championship 2017 on Wednesday.

Jagtiani of

West Bengal

blanked Bharath (Tamil Nadu) by three frames to nil, while Tamil Nadu's Rao rallied after losing the first frame to beat state-mate S K N Rajmohan 3-1.

In another match, world disability snooker champion Subramaniam defeated Mohammed Arshad 3-0.
