NEW DELHI: Shooter Sanjeev Rajput secured first Olympic quota for India in the 50m Rifle 3 Positions event by claiming the silver medal in

This is India's second medal in the year's fourth and final

shooting World Cup

after Elavenil Valarivan claimed her maiden senior World Cup gold medal, finishing on top in the women's 10m air rifle competition to become only the third Indian to achieve the feat in the event.

Sanjeev had won the gold medal in the 50m rifle 3 positions at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games and silver at the Asian Games in 2018.
