Omkar disappoints at shooting World Cup
Indians disappointed once again at the shooting World Cup in London with Amanpreet Singh and Omkar Singh finishing 32nd and 33rd in the men's air pistol competition.
PUNE: Indians disappointed once again at the shooting World Cup in London with Amanpreet Singh and Omkar Singh finishing 32nd and 33rd in the men's air pistol competition on Friday.
Both Amanpreet and Omkar shot 575 in the qualifying to miss out on the finals. The third shooter, Vijay Kumar, came 50th with a score of 570. However, air pistol is not his favourite event, who will be aiming the rapid fire gold at the Olympics.
Women's skeet shooter Rashmee Rathore shot 57 (18, 24, 15) in her qualifying match to finish 39th.
