KOLKATA:
West Bengal Tenpin Bowling Association
, one of the biggest and prestigious tournaments in the city, got underway from February 1 and the final day will be on February 6.
The format of the game is going to be divided into four sections.

, assistant secretary, BTBA.
In the first round all the bowlers will play 2 blocks of 6 games. In the second round, 16 top average bowlers will play 1 block of 6 games and top 8 bowlers will qualify for the 3rd round. Again in Round 3 Top 8 Bowlers will play 6 more games and with a cumulative of 24 games top 4 bowlers will qualify for the last round which is the “Step Ladder Round”.
In this round the winner of every match will be decided based on the cumulative Pinfall of 2 games. The winner will be awarded Rs 10,000,
trophy
and goodies.
Runner-up will be awarded Rs 7000, Trophy, and goodies as well.
The other prizes are for 3rd and 4th position, the highest average in 6 games block, and of course to the most promising player of the tournament.
