Neel Roy

(Maharashtra) will add to their medals at the

Khelo India School Games

but their clash in the boys' 50m freestyle final will light up the Dr. SPM Swimming Complex this evening session. Srihari and Neel Roy qualified within 0.23 seconds of each other in the fastest race in the competition.

In the girls' 50m freestyle event, Maharashtra's

Kenisha Gupta

set the fastest qualifying time followed by

Annie Jain

of Delhi. Kenisha will also be the favourite to take gold in the girls' 200m individual medley.

The boys' 200m backstroke final will feature a host of future champions with Srihari, Maharashtra's Vedant Bapna, Delhi's Aaryan Bhosale,

Advait Page

of Madhya Pradesh and Xavier Michael D'Souza of Goa all qualifying for what could be a mouth-watering final.

Neel Roy will also look to add another medal in a tight contest against Advait Page and Swadesh Mondal in the boys' 200m individual medley.

The finalists in the boys' 800m freestyle race were decided through a time trial. The evening session will also feature the boys' and girls' 4x100 individual relay races to conclude Day 3's proceedings.
