which concluded at Naivedhyam Eastoria here on Sunday.

At the end of the ninth and final round, three players – Om,

Shreyas Nikam

and

Ridit Nimdia

– were tied with 7,5 points each to their credit. However, on the basis of better tie-break scores, Om was adjudged champion in the below 2300 category. Shreyas and Ridit had to be satisfied with second and third spot, respectively.

The fight for the fourth spot was equally intense. R Sivasubramaniam, Rohan Joshi, Prashant Kasar and Devansh Ratti all notched up seven points apiece. However, Sivasubramaniam was declared fourth.
