YMCA Secunderabad experienced mixed luck in the APSJA Invitational Basketball Tournament. While YMCA men defeated Rippers Club 35-16, their women's team lost 30-12 to Kendriya Vidyalaya, Begumpet.
HYDERABAD: YMCA Secunderabad experienced mixed luck in the AP Sports Journalists Association (APSJA) Invitational Basketball Tournament. While YMCA men defeated Rippers Club 35-16, their women's team lost 30-12 to Kendriya Vidyalaya, Begumpet.
India's former captain Mohammad Rizwan inaugurated the tournament.
Results: Men: YMCA, Secunderabad 35 (Raja Reddy 14, Rohit 10) bt Rippers Club 16 (Vijay 6, Manav 6).
HT: 19-12.
Women: Kendriya Vidyalaya, Begumpet 30 (Ravali 15, Arti 10) bt YMCA, Secunderabad 12 (Mounica 10). HT: 15-9.
