Indian judokas clinched an impressive three silver medals at the fourth Asian Youth Championships and a couple of bronze medals.

NEW DELHI: Indian judokas clinched an impressive three silver medals at the fourth Asian Youth Championships and a couple of bronze medals at the 11th Asian Junior Championships held in Bangkok.
India had sent eight judokas, four girls and an equal number of boys, for the youth championship held on April 30.
Of these, M Kabita Devi (40kg), B R Sangeetha (+63kg) and M Inaton Singh (60kg) won silver medals for the country.

Nine Indian judokas five boys and four girls, were in fray at the junior championships. Seema (48kg) and Priyanka Das (52kg) clinched bronze medals in the event held on May 1 and 2, the Judo Federation of India said in a statement.
