India end with best-ever show

India ended fourth in the medals tally behind Japan 79 medals (47 gold, 17 silver, 15 bronze), Thailand 63 (21, 18, 24) and Hong Kong 57 (15, 24, 18). India's haul stood at 52 (15, 19, 18).
