Panwar, renowned as India's ace Single Sculler, delivered a stellar performance during the Qualification Championships in Chungju, clocking an impressive time of 7:01:27 over the 2000m course. His remarkable feat earned him a well-deserved berth for the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics, marking a significant achievement for Indian rowing on the global stage.

In the fiercely contested men's single sculls category, the top five contenders secure coveted spots for the Olympics. Panwar's determination and skill propelled him to clinch one of these coveted positions, overcoming stiff competition from his counterparts.

Panwar's journey to triumph epitomized resilience and strategic brilliance. Despite encountering a challenging start, he showcased remarkable resolve and surged ahead in the latter part of the race, swiftly surpassing his rivals to seize a commanding lead. Ultimately, his unwavering efforts paid off, securing India's inaugural Paris Olympics quota in rowing.

While Panwar basked in the glory of his achievement, India's aspirations for Olympic qualification extended to other categories as well. Despite an admirable performance by the Indian duo of Ujjwal Kumar and Arvind Singh, who secured a commendable third-place finish in their respective event, the elusive quota remained out of reach.

However, amidst the fervor of Panwar's triumph, there was more cause for celebration as India's mixed Double Scull Para Rowers, Narayana Konganapalle and Anita, emerged victorious in their qualification race. With an impressive time of 7:50:80, the dynamic duo secured their rightful place in the 2024 Para Olympics, further adding to India's representation on the global sporting stage.
