NAGPUR: Aquatic Association, Nagpur (AAN) is organizing the two-day Vidarbha-level
Swimming
competition from June 8 at the
Jain International School
, Katol Road.
The first Vidarbha-level meet of AAN will be held in association with Shree Rajput Karni Sena, WCL and MOIL.
Addressing a press conference here on Monday, AAN secretary
Roshan Choudhary
said over 250 swimmers from all over Vidarbha are expected to participate in the contest, which will be conducted in four age categories - U-9, U-11, U-14 and U-19 for boys and girls. The winners, runners-up and second runners-up in each event will get medals. Besides, best swimmers in each category will get a special award.
“Free of cost accommodation will be provided to the outstation swimmers on the school premises. Swimmer can participate in all the events in his or her respective age group. Timings of all the swimmers will be recorded for the forthcoming
Swimming Premier League
,” said Choudhary.
