Rajwant Kaur adjudged best athlete

Rajwant Kaur was awarded the best female athlete award during the recently-concluded third annual athletic meet of Rayat-Bahra Group of Institutes.

CHANDIGARH: Rajwant Kaur from Rayat-Bahra College of Education was awarded the best female athlete award during the recently-concluded third annual athletic meet of Rayat-Bahra Group of Institutes.
Rajwant bagged four golds and one bronze with total 26 points. Nikhil Dogra from Rayat Bahra College of Pharmacy was declared the best male athlete, bagging six golds, one bronze and earned 30 points.

In the march past contingent of Rayat-Bahra College of Engineering and Biotechnology for Women secured first place, Rayat-Bahra College of Education secured second place and Rayat-Bahra Institute of Engineering and Biotechnology was placed third.
Rajwant Kaur from RBCE was declared best athlete in girls. She secured first positions in 150 m, 450 m, long jump, 4x200 m and third position in 200 m race. Similarly, Poonam from RBCEBTW was placed second in girls' category with first positions in 100m, 50m and long jump and second places in 800 m, 400 m and 200 m races. Manjinder Kaur from RBIEBT secured first position in 100m, 50m and long jump and second positions in 200 m race.
Jasleen from RBIHM secured first place in shotput, 200m and 800m. She secured third place in long jump. Bhumika from RBIP secured first place in 400 m, 200 m and long jump and second place in 50m. Shipra from RBCL secured first place in 200 m, 100 m and 50 m, while Navdeep from RBIM secured first position in shotput and second in 4x200m.
From male participants, Nikhil Dogra from RBIP secured first places in 400m, 200m, 100m, 1500m, long jump and high jump and stood third in 4x200 m relay.
Daler Singh from RBCE secured first positions in 100 m, 200 m, 400 m, 800 m and long jump. Kanwarpal Singh from RBCL secured first positions in 200 m, 400 m, 800 m, 1500 m and 3000 m. Manjot Singh from RBDCEH secured first position in 800m and 400m and second place in 400 m and 200 m. Gurpreet Singh from RBIM secured first place in shotput and discus throw, second place in 100m, 400m and long jump and third in 1500m and 800m race. Parveen Kumar from RBIHM secured first place in 400 m, 800 m and long jump, second place in 4x200 m relay and third places in 100m and 200m.
