Press Conference Madness: Eddie Hearn and Ben Shalom Nearly Come To Blows

Things took an awful turn when the heated physical confrontation between Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn escalated rapidly last Monday night in Manchester. This unforeseen chaos emerged when Eubank Jr. made the bold and disgraceful move of shoving an egg onto his upcoming opponent’s face. The surfaced video of the brawl highlighted the uncanny tiff that ignited between Eddie Hearn and Ben Shalom, who were there on stage to de-escalate the situation. Things took an ugly turn when Eubank Jr. pulled off an unexpected stunt to further intensify the ongoing rivalry between him and Conor Benn ahead of their much-anticipated face-off on April 26 in London. This chaos has gained massive attention due to the recorded footage surfacing on social platforms. Hearn and Shalom were quick to step up to calm the situation right away, however, amid the chaos, Hearn was seen shoving Benn, and two promoters supposedly got involved in a fiery exchange of words after the press conference. Speaking to BOXRAW, Hearn reacted to the chaos, stating, "We are on good terms. I believe he (Shalom) didn't know about it (the egg)," before Shalom quickly responded, "You know I didn't know about it." The Matchroom boss then gave a witty reply stating, "No I didn't because you're a little snake." Hearn’s remarks further pushed Shalom to revert, he said, "You know I didn't know about it, don't talk, don't talk s***. You can't say things (like that)." Hearn’s Fumingly responded, stating, "I've been very nice to you lately, I've given you a big education these past few weeks. I've told you, you're very lucky to be talking to me." Hearn ended the conversation by calling the stunt a “Bit** Move.” In 2022, Benn failed to clear his drug tests and reported the cause as excessive egg intake. Regardless of the intentions behind this mock, this move by Euban Jr. ahead of his face-off against Benn has intensified the showdown yet to take place between the two. Benn later took to his social media to call out Eubank Jr. by stating, "That’s the only shot you’ll land on me you f****** p****. Two rounds you are finished."Well, even though this chaos was avoidable, this has certainly made sure of a fiery showdown between the two middleweight fighters.
