Conor McGregor has not been seen in a UFC match for close to four years now. Last year, he was supposed to appear at a fight against Michael Chandler but it got cancelled at the last moment. The last time Conor McGregor actually fought in the UFC was against Dustin Poirer in 2021 where he had lost the match. But now, Conor McGregor’s recent post has sparked a controversy among fans regarding his match with Dustin Poirer.

Fans Accuse Conor McGregor Of Lying About The Compensation He Received In His Last Match Against Dustin Poirer

Recently, the UFC star replied to a post on X that spoke about the payment that UFC fighters have received in the last few matches. This included the payments of Dmitry Bivol and Artur Beterbiev. Conor McGregor reply read as, “If accurate, I made more than this entire card’s estimated payout combined in my last outing for the UFC. 2021. I garnered record gate, as well as record ppv’s for the company through my service. #MONEY”.

But fans are not convinced by his reply. A fan wrote, “Bro just lies for the sake of lying😭”, while another fan wrote, “Take Conor's claims and divide them by 2 and you'll usually get the rough correct number”.

A third fan wrote, “Stop the 🧢🧢🧢🧢”. Conor McGregor’s fans have also urged him to come back to the world of UFC. A fan wrote, “How about finishing your contract in UFC? What are we doing??”
Another fan had the same question and commented, “What about now? Are you ever going to fight again?”
A third fan echoed the same emotion and wrote, “Been 4 years tho. You gotta come back soon man”.
Recently, Conor McGregor’s last opponent in the UFC, Dustin Poirer spoke about him on the Outta Pocket with RGIII podcast and said, “Look, I love to talk trash on Conor...but he’s special. He has something special…”
However, Dustin Poirer got heavily trolled for it, as many reminded him of the way Conor McGregor behaved with his wife in their last match when he accused her of messaging him.
